FAQ

Not at this time. We do have plans to open up a physical location in the future but at present time, we are a small, family-run aviary and we operate solely out of our rural home in Ocala, Florida.

Yes. Although we currently do not have a brick and mortar business, we are 100% reputable and legal. Many backyard breeders do not register their aviary as a business nor do they ensure the proper permits to legally breed and sell birds. We, however, have taken all the proper steps to ensure we're doing business the right way. Not only for our customers but for the health and safety of our birds as well as our personal and financial reasons.

Running a business is a huge decision especially when living beings are involved!

We are registered with the American Federation of Aviculture (AFA) and also provide all of our babies with AFA closed leg bands. This registry ensures the proper registration and safety of all of our babies. If your baby were to accidentally escape or fall victim to theft, your found bird can be traced back to our Aviary for safe retrieval. If you would like to transfer registration, please contact us for more details.

We DNA sex and test for 5 of the major avian diseases before allowing any of our babies to be rehomed. We provide a 30-day health guarantee from the date of test results. This means that if we test our babies on 3/1/2023 and the results come back clean on 3/5/2023, the guarantee will be valid through 4/5/2023. If you purchase your baby on 3/20/2023 then you will have 15 days left on that health guarantee.

You have a couple options you can choose from if you'd like to extend the health guarantee:

1) Purchase an additional test through us. Requires deposit. We will test and obtain up-to-date results for you prior to delivery of your new baby.

2) Take your baby to an Avian veterinarian prior to the current health guarantee expiration date. Date of testing invoice must show the tests were performed prior to expiration date.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact us.

We accept meeting pick-ups and offer local concierge services as well as Delta airline flights. Regardless of how your bird travels, we automatically custom build our own wood shipping/delivery crates to ensure safe handling and less stress on the birds, which is included in the price of each baby.

Due to home safety and health reasons, we do not accept in-person visits to our home. We understand that you may want to see how we're set-up and how we care for our flock which is very much appreciated, so we do provide live feeds and updates of all of our clutches, aviary tours and additional video/images upon request.

We provide free consultations and help with all of our babies. Forever.

Please contact us at [email protected] if you require assistance.

Our concierge service is a new travel method that we have recently implemented. Since we are unable to accept in-person visits and we'd prefer to avoid meeting customers at local gas stations for drop-off, we are now providing free local delivery to your home within 45 miles of our Aviary based in Ocala, Florida.

If you reside outside of the 45 mile radius, we can hand-deliver up to 100 miles with a small fee.

If there are extenuating circumstances that require further travel than 100 miles, please reach out with your details so we can evaluate the best plan for your baby bird.
